The problem
QuartzX built an investment management application for investment funds; its clients included a Canadian pension fund. The application was meant to show everything in one place: it gathered the funds' data through an aggregator and placed every deal on a world map.
The approach
I was one of seven frontend developers, working in Angular and TypeScript across the whole application rather than on a single feature. At the centre of the interface was the world map: every deal shown at its location, so a fund could see where its investments were.
The outcome
The application is still live today.
